The Allenzara Lab’s Research Mission

Myositis and Scleroderma are a group of chronic, rare autoimmune diseases that cause significant morbidity and mortality.

We seek to understand ways to reduce complications and advance treatment for people living with myositis, scleroderma and other rare diseases. Our aim is to learn when and why conditions like cancer, heart disease and lung disease develop, to provide more personalized care and improve long-term outcomes for people living with myositis.

We also offer clinical trials, providing access to promising new treatments, such as CAR-T treatments.
